Our Team

Gaskill Custom Homes has provided a complete Design team to each client since our inception in 1991. With more than 20 years of residential and commercial design experience, our architect has developed a superb eye for proportion – a quality that enables him to zero in on what buyers want and bring it to fruition. With all of Gaskill’s plans in his computer, buyers who have selected one of the pre-existing plans can sit down with him and within a couple of hours, manipulate the plan into the home of their dreams.

We also provide each client with 10 hours of design time with our Interior Designer. He will assist you in selecting your exterior colors as well as all of the interior colors for your home. We also employ a licensed landscape architect who consults with Gaskill’s homeowners to gain an understanding of their needs and lifestyle. Working as part of the core design team, our landscape architect helps position Gaskill homes in a way that maximizes their features and ensures a sense of continuity between the interior and exterior of the home.

Our team consists of Phil Gaskill, our Project Manager, Accountant and Selections Coordinator. Phil works very closely with the Project Manager to ensure every home is built to our standards. On any given day you will find either Phil or the Project Manager at the home site monitoring the building process to ensure that every home is built to Gaskill’s standards. Our Selections Coordinator works closely with the client and Interior Designer to make sure that your vision for your new home is implemented. She is here to discuss any changes that you may want to make in your selections. Our whole team is available to our homebuyers to answer any questions you may have.

Gaskill entrusts his clients dreams only to Bakersfield’s best trades and craftsmen. Every trade contractor on the building team must have the same dedication to the ultimate product as Gaskill.

Trade contractors claim Gaskill is one of the pickiest and most demanding builders they have ever worked for, putting his concern for the homeowner above all else. Each home is treated as if it is the last home the buyer will ever build and everyone’s reputation has a stake in it.
